
ArmInfo.69 IT companies that were included in the list of 1000 large taxpayers replenished the state treasury by 59 billion drams in Jan-Sept 2023. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of High-Technological Industry, citing data from the Modex agency.
According to the source, the share of IT companies in the list of 1000 largest taxpayers accounted for 4.2% of tax revenues.
It is reported that the companies paid 8.4 billion drams in income tax, of which 20% or 1.6 billion drams came from one of the leading companies in the IT sector, Veeam Armenia. It should be noted that EPAM, Synopsys Armenia, KEH Armenia (Avito) and Picsart were also included in the TOP-5.
According to the data of the State Revenue Committee, the 1000 largest taxpayers of Armenia paid 1.3 trillion drams to the state treasury in Jan-Sept 2023 ($3.2 billion), which is 17% higher than a year ago. According to the RA Statistical Committee, in H1 2023, the income of the information and telecommunication technology sector in Armenia increased by 89.1%, amounting to 400.7 million drams. Of that amount, the lion's share (73%) was from the ICT services sector, 26% from trade and traditionally the smallest percentage (0.2%) from manufacturing.
