Currently, bilateral working consultations are being held between representatives of the competent government authorities in the phytosanitary field in order to urgently resolve the problems that have arisen. According to the source, from December 2, the Upper Lars checkpoint is open to all types of vehicles, including trucks transporting perishable agricultural products.
On November 27, RA Minister of Economy Vahan Kerobyan announced that Armenia plans to discuss within the EAEU the problem of cargo supplies from Armenia to Russia through the Upper Lars checkpoint on the Georgian-Russian border.
