ArmInfo. As of February 1, 2024, the electricity tariff will remain unchanged in Armenia. The decision was made on December 27 at a meeting of the RA Public Services Regulatory Commission (PSRC).
A As stated in the Regulator's message, based on the analysis of all the positive and negative factors affecting the tariffs, there was no need to review the electricity tariffs supplied to consumers by "Electric Networks of Armenia" CJSC. "Current tariffs will remain unchanged for all consumers," the message redas.
As of February 1, 2022, the electricity tariff was increased by an average of 4.7 drams. An exception was made for socially vulnerable segments of the population. According to the PSRC, they account for 11% of all households. The daily tariff for them, as before, is 29.99 drams, the night tariff - 19.99 drams.
An increase of 5.5 drams was established for higher voltage subscribers (enterprises), (36.48 to 41.98 drams for 10 kW subscribers, 38.98 to 44.48 drams for 35 kW subscribers, 44.98 to 50.48 drams for 6 (10 ) kW subscribers). Night tariffs for the first two groups will remain lower by 4 drams, for 6 (10) kW - by 10 drams.
The following tariffs were established for all other subscribers: the tariff will increase by 1.5 drams per kW/h - up to 46.48 drams during the day, 36, 48 drams - at night (including VAT) for subscribers who monthly consume up to 200 kW/h (55% of residential consumers) of electricity;
- the tariff will increase by 3.5 drams per kW/h - up to 48.48 drams during the day and 38.48 drams - at night (including VAT) for subscribers who monthly consume up to 201-400 kW/h (25% of residential consumers) of electricity;
- all other subscribers will pay 5.5 drams per kWh more - 53.48 drams (including VAT). At the same time, the nightly electricity tariff for them will increase to 43.48 drams, against the current 37.98 drams.
