The RA Deputy Minister of Health Artak Jumayan noted that by the decree of the Minister of Health the created professional commissions carry out the function of match or non-match decision function of the diseases included in the list and the citizens' diagnosing, which in its turn causes additional documentation turnover and implementation of function non-characteristic to the body, the Ministry of Health, working out policy. The amendments to the law on Cumulative Pension proposes to reserve that function to the Integrated Social Service of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, which carries out the appointment and providing of pensions, allowances, monetary payments, the implementation of the person's functionality assessment, the decision of the degree of the loss of the person's professional employability connected with professional disease, including the function of providing professional conclusion. The member of the Standing Committee on Labor and Social Affairs Mariam Poghosyan presented the endorsement of the Committee. She clarified that the citizen will get the answer during 10 days after applying to the Integrated Social Service of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs. The issue was debated at the NA sitting on February 6.
