"The emphasis in the export strategy must be placed on markets that are not yet open to us," Armenian Minister of Economy Vahan Kerobyan stated during a working discussion of the results of the analytical report on the export strategy for 2025-2030, developed with the support of the US Agency for International Development (USAID).
He emphasized that the new strategy provides for reducing Armenia's export risks and, through diversification, reducing the dependence of exports on political actions. "We must create tools that will facilitate the opening of markets," the minister said.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Economy, the meeting participants discussed the vision and main directions of the export strategy of the Republic of Armenia, analysis methodology, main export products and directions, as well as the compliance of products with these markets. Discussions on the export strategy with representatives of the private sector and other interested parties are planned in the near future.
