Belarus bans import of Ararat Brandy Company products 

ArmInfo. Belarus has banned the import of products from the Ararat Brandy Factory, The Kommersant  newspaper reported with reference to the relevant resolution of the Deputy Minister of Health, Chief Sanitary Doctor of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Tarasenko.

The document dated March 19 states that the decision was made in  connection with the discovery of the synthetic dye azorubine in one  of the wines produced by the plant. "In connection with the  identification of non-compliance of food products produced by Ararat  Brandy Factory LLC with the requirements of the technical regulations  of the customs union "On the safety of food products", "Food products  in terms of their labeling" in terms of providing reliable  information about the composition of products, I decide to prohibit  import into the territory of the Republic of Belarus , sale, storage,  transportation, use of food products produced by Ararat Brandy  Factory," the document says.
