ArmInfo.This year's World Congress On Information Technology (WCIT) is scheduled to be held in Yerevan, Armenia, on October 04-07, 2024, under the headline "THE POWER OF MIND: AI Beyond Limits, Within Ethics".
Within the framework of the Congress there will be speeches by eminent speakers, including author of the international bestseller "How to raise a successful person" Esther Wojcicki, founder of the ABBYY group of companies David Yang, co- founder of Picsart Hovhannes Avoyan, technical director of TELUS Ibrahim Gedeo, etc.
Participants can also expect panel discussions, B2B meetings, business and innovation exhibitions, seminars and other events. One of the important events will be the WITSA World Cup (WWC). In total, about 2 thousand delegates from more than 80 countries will visit Armenia.

According to the source, the Minister assured that Government of the RA, in the scope of its responsibilities and mandate, will support the Organizational Committee to hold a respectable event.

Our country is being considered as a new Tech Hub and we are likely to share all this game-changing experience and expertise we have locally with our guests and participants. I am also honored to announce that for this edition of WCIT 2024, we are partnering with the largest tech and innovation event in the region - DigiTec, which is hosting thousands of tech companies from Armenia and abroad," - said Hayk Karapetyan, Executive Director of the Organizing Committee of WCIT2024//DigiTec.
