Since 2017, National Foundation for Servicemen Insurance has paid  monetary compensation to families of 5,345 dead, missing servicemen

ArmInfo.Since 2017, as of the end of the first quarter of 2024, the National Foundation for Servicemen Insurance has paid financial compensation in the amount of 91.5 billion drams to the families of 5,345 deceased, missing  servicemen, as well as those with 1st or 2nd group disabilities. This was stated by Karine Sarkissian, Chief Executive Officer at ZINAPAH - National Foundation for Servicemen Insurance, during a press conference on June 12.

She noted that the Foundation's income is formed from three sources:  mandatory payments from citizens, as a result of asset management and  through donations. Thus, according to Sarkissian, since 2017, a total  of 150 billion drams have been generated thanks to working citizens  of the Republic of Armenia, 18 billion - from asset management and  9.4 billion are donations, both from Armenia and from different  countries of the world. Speaking about 2023, she reported that the  income for the year has increased by 26%, and expenses have decreased  by 13%. Over the past year, 108 servicemen became beneficiaries of  the Foundation, and 147 servicemen in the first quarter of 2024  alone.
