Pashinyan: program for providing housing to forcibly displaced  persons from Nagorno-Karabakh is entering practical stage of  implementation

ArmInfo. The program for providing housing to internally displaced persons from Nagorno-Karabakh is entering the practical stage of implementation. RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated at a government meeting on June 14.

According to him, one of the important conditions for assisting  refugees from Nagorno-Karabakh should be their Armenian citizenship.  According to Pashinyan, this is the right approach, and it is very  important that its implementation does not allow deviations from the  established goals. The RA government, the Prime Minister continued,  will continue the policy of social assistance to persons forcibly  displaced from Nagorno-Karabakh. "At the same time, we will not allow  the clerical-feudal elite of Nagorno-Karabakh to use our compatriots  for their political purposes. We are very patient, and let no one  perceive this as a manifestation of the weakness of the government. I  hope that the recipients of this message will accept it so that we do  not deliver this message to specific addresses," the head of the  Cabinet said.

The procedure for implementing the state program for providing  forcibly displaced persons with housing was approved at the  government meeting. Presenting the draft decision, Deputy Minister of  Labor and Social Affairs of the Republic of Armenia David Khachatryan  noted that on May 16, the program was approved by the decision of the  Government of the Republic of Armenia, and then an order was received  to prepare the procedure for its implementation by June 15 of this  year.

The deputy minister said that it will be possible to start accepting  the applications of the beneficiaries of the program from June 15. In  the first stage, electronic applications will be accepted from  beneficiaries with families of three or more minors, families of  deceased servicemen, disabled persons of the first and second groups.  When submitting applications, it will be necessary to provide not  only your and family members' information, but also the addresses of  the apartments or houses that the beneficiaries want to purchase. At  the same time, the value of the real estate must correspond to the  amount of financing approved by the government. All the received data  will be summarized, after which the beneficiaries will also be sent  electronically a certificate with a QR code to present to a  commercial bank participating in this program together with the  state. After that, the bank will open the financing. At the second  stage - from July 15, applications will be accepted for the  construction of housing for families with two minor children, and at  the third stage - from August 1 - from those beneficiaries who have  already attracted a mortgage loan.
