So, according to the press service of the department, from now on there is no need to be personally present to submit declarations for products exported from the Republic of Armenia (including EAEU member countries), if the risk management system chooses the "Yellow Path" or "Red Path" (which implies documentary control).
Document verification by customs authorities is carried out remotely. If there are no discrepancies, the status of the declaration changes to , after which the declarant is informed about this in the field of the system and can visit the warehouse where the goods are located to carry out further release actions.
If inconsistencies are detected in the declaration, the customs authority informs the declarant about the necessary further actions in the field through the system.
For imports, more than 1,100 economic operators are currently included in this system on a test basis, which were selected by the system automatically, based on certain criteria (for example, the majority of economic operators who have implemented the 1st method for determining customs value), which are already registered in their personal account tax authority were notified individually not to appear at the customs service hall.
Declarants can only regularly monitor the status and marks of the relevant declaration in the National Single Window for Foreign Trade of the Republic of Armenia system.
The SRC encourages all economic operators and their customs representatives to attach to their declarations in the most legible form all documents necessary for verification, including documents confirming customs payments.
