Wine output records 32.6% y/y decline in Jan-May 

ArmInfo. Wine production in Armenia in January-May 2024 decreased by 32.6% per annum, amounting  to 3.8 million liters, sparkling wine (champagne) - by 19.3% to 444.8 thousand liters. This is evidenced by the data of the Statistical Committee.

Growth was registered for other types of alcoholic products produced  in Armenia.

In particular, cognac production increased by 18.8% year-on-year,  amounting to 7.9 million liters. The production of vodka, liqueur and  other alcoholic beverages increased by 37.4% to 626.8 thousand  liters, beer - by 3.7% to 9.3 million liters. At the same time,  whiskey production volumes during the reporting period increased  impressively - 3 times, exceeding 1 million liters.
