ArmInfo. Violations in the labeling of dairy products in Armenia have decreased, the Commission for the Protection of Competition (CPC) reports.
According to the source, the Commission conducted a thorough study in the field of dairy production in 2020 and discovered that producers were attempting to mislead consumers. They label their products as dairy, when in reality they contained a milk fat substitute.
"In the subsequent years, the CPC consistently kept the industry in the spotlight, which had a positive effect. A study conducted in 2023, found a case of violation in only one of the 18 products tested", the Regulator's press service noted.
