Iran granted permission for the transportation of small livestock from Armenia to Iraq

ArmInfo. According to the statement issued by the RA Food Safety Inspectorate, negotiations have made it possible to organize transit transportation of small cattle from Armenia to the Republic of Iraq through the territory of Iran. As noted in the statement, Tehran has given initial approval for this transit. The animals must undergo a 21-day quarantine in the country of origin, under the supervision of an Iranian Veterinary Organization (IVO) representative. 

Earlier, in April 2024, Iran resumed transit transportation of livestock from Armenia through its territory.
