ArmInfo. Gevorg Papoyan, the Minister of Economy of Armenia received representatives from the Bridged company.

According to the press service of the RA Ministry of Economy, during the meeting they discussed the issue of placing Armenia in the niche of medical tourism and studying the positive impact of this initiative on the local economy.

The company representatives spoke about their goals, the functions of the platform, the schedule of upcoming work and the expected results.

"Medical tourism is a very important area for Armenia and its development plays a key role in our annual strategic plan. We are ready to support and promote this sector in every possible way," Papoyan noted.  "Bridged is an online medical tourism platform that aims to promote Armenia as a leading destination for medical tourism. This, in turn, will contribute to the country's significant economic growth," the Ministry of Economy further noted in its statement.
