ArmInfo. The Armenian government will allocate 1.428 billion drams for the implementation of subvention programs. The decision to allocate financial resources was made at a cabinet meeting on August 8.
As the Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure of the Republic of Armenia Gnel Sanosyan noted in his speech, the programs implemented or being implemented in 13 settlements of 6 regions of the republic will be financed. In total, we are talking about 20 projects. In particular, subvention programs in the amount of 423 million drams will be implemented in the Ararat region, 425 million drams in the Armavir region, 16 million drams in the Gegharkunik region, 174 million drams in the Lori region, 31 million drams in the Kotayk region, and 356 million drams in the Shirak region. In the latter case, the government will finance the purchase of 10 new buses and 10 trolleybuses by the Gyumri city administration. The funds will also be directed to the construction and repair of roads, kindergartens, water pipes and other urban infrastructure facilities. Taking into account the programs already financed since the beginning of the year, the total amount of deductions will be 13.7 billion drams.
