ArmInfo. The growth in industrial production in Armenia was the highest among the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union. This is evidenced by the data from the Eurasian Economic Commission, presented on the EEC page in the telegram channel.
According to EEC data, industrial production in Armenia grew by 18.2%. in the first half of this year. In comparison, Belarus saw a growth of 7.1%, Russia - 4.4%, Kazakhstan - 2.8% and Kyrgyzstan - 1%.
Overall, according to the source, industrial production in the EAEU increased by 4.4% in January-June 2024 compared to the same period in 2023. The volume of production in manufacturing in the EAEU industry increased by 7.9%, in electricity supply, gas supply, steam and air conditioning - by 4.2%, in water supply, sewerage system, control over waste collection and distribution - by 4.4% while mining and quarrying decreased by 0.2%.
