1,729 Armenian trucks waiting at the Upper Lars checkpoint to enter Georgia

ArmInfo. The Traffic  Organization Center of RA reported that there are currently 1,729  Armenian trucks waiting in the electronic queue to cross the  Russian-Georgian border at the Upper Lars checkpoint in North  Ossetia.  

Out of the 5,261 vehicles in the queue, 1,729  are Armenian trucks.  

In recent days, huge traffic jams have been observed on the road from  Russia to Georgia via the Upper Lars checkpoint. This is due to the  holiday season and a high volume of trucks transporting fruits and  vegetables.
