ArmInfo. On August 14, Armenian Finance Minister Vahe Hovhannisyan received the newly appointed UN Resident Coordinator in Armenia Francoise Jacob.

As reported by the press service of the Ministry of Finance, Vahe Hovhannisyan highly appreciated the current level of cooperation with UN structures and the support provided by the UN in the context of implementing institutional reforms.

During the meeting, the parties touched upon the programs implemented jointly with the RA government, mentioning the importance of their substantive areas and assessing their effectiveness.  Prospects for meeting the needs of people forcibly displaced from Nagorno-Karabakh, financing adaptation to climate change, and cooperation in a number of other areas were also discussed.
