ArmInfo. On August 23, Chairman of the State Revenue Committee of the Republic of Armenia Rustam Badasyan presented the Executive Director of the Barsis company with a Type I certificate on inclusion in the register of authorized economic operators of the Eurasian Economic Union.
Barsis became the second authorized economic operator in Armenia, the press service of the SRC reported. The Chairman of the SRC, congratulating the Executive Director of the LLC Hakob Menemshyan, emphasized the importance of the company's example in promoting voluntary compliance with the status of an authorized economic operator, since an entity carrying out law-abiding foreign economic activity has the opportunity to take advantage of such simplifications as priority implementation of customs operations, loading and unloading of goods without permission from customs authorities, the use of LTO as a means of identification, the possibility of releasing goods before presenting a declaration, etc.
After the certificate presentation ceremony, a discussion of the problems of law-abiding business, customs simplifications, and issues related to the organization of tax and customs administration took place. The interlocutors exchanged thoughts on how to further expand the scope of simplifications, benefits, and advantages for law-abiding businesses.
The businessman expressed satisfaction with the cooperation with the State Revenue Committee.
A memorandum of cooperation was signed between the Chairman of the State Revenue Committee Rustam Badasyan and the authorized economic operator, represented by the Executive Director of Barsis LLC Hakob Menemshyan, with the aim of exchanging information necessary for the effective application of special simplified procedures provided for by the legislation of the Republic of Armenia.
