ArmInfo. In 2023, shares of two state-owned companies were privatized, and the Isotope Production  Center CJSC was excluded from the "State Property Privatization  Program for 2017-2020," as stated by Arnak Avetisyan, head of the  State Property Management Committee, in parliament on September 9,  while presenting the draft law for the implementation of the program  for 2023 in the second reading.

According to him, the government's decision to exclude the CJSC also  includes maintaining state funding for the Center, transferring  management of the shares to the Ministry of Health and ensuring the  improvement and development of the services provided.  During the  reporting period, 3.7 billion drams were secured through  privatization, of which 1.1 billion drams were allocated to the state  treasury, and 1.1 billion drams were allocated to the community  budget.  In 2023, under the privatization agreements, both buyers  fulfilled their obligations to maintain the profile completely.  However, one of the buyers only partially fulfilled their investment  obligations, resulting in a fine of 30 million drams being imposed on  them.
