ArmInfo. On September 12, at a regular meeting, the Armenian government amended its 2016 decision in order to create conditions conducive to the development of defense industry enterprises.
As stated in the explanatory note to the document, the draft proposes not to apply the maximum profit limit, which will create favorable conditions for the further development of the military industry of the Republic of Armenia.
In addition, considering the logistical, technical and geopolitical risks inherent in the industry, the application of the maximum permissible profit limit creates disproportionate risks for organizations, which, in turn, increases the likelihood of failure to fulfill a state order.
The refusal will contribute to the improvement of production processes of organizations, the development and promotion of the industry, and the increase in the competitiveness of companies in the domestic and international markets>, the draft decision says.
