Armenia improves its position in Global Innovation Index -2024

ArmInfo. Armenia has improved its position in the Global Innovation Index, taking 63rd place, thus  moving up 9 notches compared to last year. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Economy, citing a report by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).

In terms of the last 4 years, our country achieved its best result in  2020, when it was ranked 61st.

Among 34 countries with above-average income, according to the  source, Armenia ranks 15th, having achieved progress in such  categories as , , , and . At the same time, a decline was recorded in the  section. It should be noted that in 2023, Armenia  ranked 72nd, in 2022 - 80th, and in 2021 - 69th.
