ArmInfo.The Ministry of High-Tech Industry of Armenia will provide support for the establishment of multicomponent semiconductor and silicon-photonic microcircuit production in Armenia by Levi Semiconductors PTE, a Singapore based company. The memorandum of cooperation was signed by Ruben Simonyan, Deputy Minister of High-Tech Industry of Armenia, Levon Hovhannisayan, General Director of the , and Sevada Gyurjyan, Director of Levi Semiconductors PTE.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the next steps and objectives of cooperation and reached agreements in several areas. Levi Semiconductors PTE co-founder Amit Agarwal, in turn, presented the company's long-term experience and achievements and prospects related to Armenia Deputy Minister Ruben Simonyan noted that this initiative is another important step towards the development of the high-tech industry in Armenia. He stated that the Ministry is ready to support research initiatives to promote innovation in semiconductor technologies, implement programs to enhance employee skills, and explore international markets for potential partnerships with interested parties.
