Elisabetta Falcetti, Managing Director for Turkey and the Caucasus at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), presented the main priorities of the draft strategy for Armenia for 2025-2030 to Armenian Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Khachatryan, as reported by the government press service, citing the results of the meeting held today.
In this context, the parties emphasized the importance of developing sustainable infrastructure for the transition to a more inclusive and competitive private sector, as well as to a green economy.
During the meeting, they also discussed a variety of issues related to bilateral cooperation. This included the construction of the Sisian-Kajaran section of the North-South transport corridor, as well as potential cooperation in water system and solid waste management. Tigran Khachatryan expressed confidence that the partnership and effective interaction between the Bank and the Government of Armenia will continue to grow stronger.
