ArmInfo.Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan presented the RA State Award for Global Contribution in the field of information technology to Narayana Murthy, the founder of Infosys Limited. The 14th ceremony awarding the state prize was held yesterday at the government.
As reported by the press service of the RA Cabinet of Ministers, Pashinyan noted that one of the motives for organizing this event is to show gratitude for the life paths of these people. "We believe that highlighting their path can be beneficial not only for the youth of Armenia, but also for the youth of any country in the world, who can be inspired by these examples. The presence of our laureates, in this case, the honorable Mr. Murthy, is a great honor for all of us and the Republic of Armenia. With this official event we celebrate the achievements and contributions of our laureates, in this case, the honorable Mr. Murthy. Dear Mr. Murthy, please accept once again the assurances of our deepest respect and appreciation for your path, your contributions to the technology industry and your global impact," the head of the Cabinet noted.
In his speech, Narayana Murthy thanked the Prime Minister for the high appreciation and emphasized that it was a great honor for him to receive the Award of the Republic of Armenia.
