ArmInfo. Retailer Modi plans to enter the Armenian market in 2025. The company told RIA Novosti about this.
They noted that in addition to Armenia, the possibility of entering the Belarusian market is also being considered. In total, the retailer plans to open 100 new stores over the next year.
"In 2025, the Modi retail chain plans to open 100 new outlets, including in new countries for the retailer - Belarus and Armenia, thus entering the international level," the company said.
The company emphasized that 2024 was "extremely successful" for the retail chain: it significantly expanded its geographic presence and launched cooperation with several large Russian companies at once, including Flowwow, Sokolov, Perekrestok and Yandex Plus.
The Modi retail chain has been developing since 2017. At the moment, more than 170 own stores are open in 56 cities of Russia, and a franchise network is also developing. Modi presents 14 product categories: home and kitchen goods, stationery, cosmetics, jewelry, holiday goods, gadgets, accessories, games and toys, travel goods, pet goods, sports goods, food, clothing and footwear.
