ArmInfo. Armenia is interested in deepening cooperation with Uruguay in the field of technological education. This was stated during a meeting between Deputy Minister of High-Tech Industry of Armenia Gevorg Mantashyan and the Uruguayan delegation headed by the head of the Language Policy Department of the National Educational Administration of Uruguay (ANEP) Aldo Rodriguez and the director of the Nubarian College of the Armenian General Benevolent Union Javier Poladyan.
The Deputy Minister noted that Armenia is interested in establishing business ties in the technological sphere, especially in the field of technological education with Uruguay.
Mantashyan presented the programs implemented by the Ministry in the field of technological education. In this regard, he mentioned the Plug and Play acceleration program aimed at developing startups in Armenia, the activities of the Armath laboratories, the Tumo Center for Creative Technologies, and the COAF smart center. The parties discussed opportunities for effective cooperation, including considering the prospects for creating working platforms between companies in the technology sector, exchanging experiences and establishing dialogue in the field of technological education, agricultural technologies, innovations, digitalization, artificial intelligence, etc.
