Armenia and China discussed new areas of collaboration in the field of high technologies, as reported by the press service of the Ministry of High-Tech Industry of Armenia, referring to the results of the meeting between Deputy Minister Gevorg Mantashyan and the Chinese delegation led by Zhao Qiuyan, the Inspector of the Eurasian Department at the Ministry of Commerce of China.
The parties acknowledged the significant potential for enhancing collaboration between Armenia and China in the technological sector and affirmed their commitment to working towards its advancement. They also considered possibilities for mutual participation in industry exhibitions related to telecommunications, digitalization, cybersecurity, space technologies, and research and development (R&D). The Chinese side presented points for possible expansion of bilateral cooperation, with a special focus on the standardization of certification for high-tech products. Gevorg Mantashyan, in turn, emphasized the importance of developing a roadmap for collaboration between the two countries.
