ArmInfo. Armenian authorities have issued licenses and permits to the global satellite communications system STARLINK. Mkhitar Hayrapetyan, the Minister of High-Tech Industry of Armenia, shared this information on his Facebook page.
According to him, the Public Services Regulation Commission (PSRC) has approved STARLINK's applications for a license to use public electronic communications. At the same time, the PSRC has issued a permit to STARLINK to use radiofrequencies on a secondary basis for organizing public electronic communications network via global satellite communications systems. <That is, licenses and permits have been granted, and now we enter the testing phase, which, we hope, will be completed in the coming months, and the service will be fully operational, > Hayrapetyan said.
