
ArmInfo.Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia Paruyr Hovhannis received a delegation led by Kostas Fragkogiannis, the Deputy Foreign Minister of Greece and Co-Chair of the Intergovernmental Commission on Economic, Industrial and Scientific-Technical Cooperation between Armenia and Greece.
As reported by the press service of the Armenian Foreign Ministry, the Deputy Minister expressed satisfaction that the 6th meeting of the Armenian-Greek Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Economic, Industrial, and Scientific-Technical Cooperation will take place in Yerevan tomorrow, December 17, after a short break due to objective reasons. Hovhannisyan noted that the governments of the two friendly countries demonstrate the necessary political will and consistency to develop interstate relations in various fields.
The interlocutors noted that productive discussions have taken place between the delegations of both sides during virtual and in-person meetings. As a result, a joint protocol was developed to be signed tomorrow after the Intergovernmental Commission meeting. The diplomats expressed confidence that tomorrow's meeting will create new prospects for enhancing the comprehensive and high-level relations between the two countries, serving as an important economic platform for fostering and expanding Armenian-Greek business ties.
Both parties were pleased with the current level of warm and trusting Armenian-Greek relations based on mutual respect and confidence. They highlighted the importance of enhancing collaboration in areas of shared interest and working together to fully realize the existing potential. They also discussed opportunities for bilateral and multilateral cooperation.
