ArmInfo. The investment project for the construction of the fourth section of the Circular Boulevard in Yerevan will be submitted to the Armenian government for consideration. This was announced on December 23 at a working meeting at the Yerevan City Hall by the adviser to the mayor of the capital, Anneta Babayan.
According to her, last week the project was discussed again and submitted to the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure, from where it should be sent to the government for approval.
Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan noted that this project is intended to restore green spaces in the city center. It is aimed at turning the park into a socially significant object. "It is very important to begin implementing this program, which has received wide public attention, next year," the mayor said.
It was previously reported that all the cafes on the 4th section of the Circular Boulevard, which is planned to be reconstructed, will be demolished. The entire section of the boulevard from Sayat-Nova Street to Nalbandyan Street will be reconstructed and improved. Such objects as "Tashir Pizza", "Labyrinth", "Novella Music Hall", "Montana Music House", "Hookah Lounge & Rooms" and others will be demolished. The mayor's office plans to restore a number of monuments of national and local significance, their territory will be improved, and the tennis court "Ararat" will be moved.
