On November 27, 2024, the Board of Directors of the ZZangezur Copper Molybdenum Combine (ZCMC) CJSC convened a meeting where, in addition to other issues, proposed to distribute annual dividends to the shareholders of the Company based on the Company's 2023 financial performance, including profits from previous years, as stated by the press service of the CJSC.
The source notes that on December 5, 2024, an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders of the Company was held. During the meeting, the shareholders discussed various issues including annual financial statements, balance sheet, profit and loss account, distribution of profits and losses, and the payment of annual dividends based on the Company's activities in 2023. The total net profit of the Company (including previous years) was 152 billion drams. The dividends will be distributed proportionally to each shareholder's share in the authorized capital of the Company.
It should be noted that for the third year in a row, the list of 1000 large taxpayers of Armenia is led by the Zangezur Copper Molybdenum Combine. The enterprise contributed approximately 102 billion drams to the state treasury in 2024 (with an annual growth of 44%), of which 2.2 billion drams were customs duties, 30.2 billion drams were direct taxes (including profit tax, income tax), and 2.7 billion drams were indirect taxes (including VAT, excise tax).
