The Ardshinbank CJSC, which is currently in operation, has issued an explanation regarding the Central Bank of the Republic of Armenia Council's decision today to liquidate Ardshinbank OJSC (which went bankrupt 23 years ago). The purpose of the explanation is to prevent the spread of misleading information and provide both readers and its clients with accurate and reliable information
The press release from the current CJSC <Ardshinbank> states: "Today the Central Bank deregistered the Open Joint-Stock Company <Ardshinbank>, which went bankrupt in 2002 and was liquidated in 2003. We clarify that the Closed Joint-Stock Company <Ardshinbank> continues its activities as usual, has no relation to the bank, which was liquidated about 23 years ago, and is not the legal successor of this bank." Additionally, Ardshinbank CJSC announced: "We hereby officially declare that the Liquidated Bank Ardshinbank OJSC, which was deregistered (its activities were terminated) by the decision of the Council of the Central Bank of the Republic of Armenia on 29.01.2025, has no relation to Ardshinbank Closed Joint-Stock Company (registration number 83, registration date - 25.02.2003) and is not its legal successor. The press reports are disinformation."
