ArmInfo. Armenia's communications sector experienced a slight acceleration in growth in 2024, increasing from 2.5% to 2.8% and generating revenue of 167 billion drams.
According to data from the RA Statistics Committee, in December 2024 alone, the communications sector achieved a growth rate of 3.7%, with revenue totaling 14.7 billion drams. The dominant telecommunications segment within the communications sector (92.5%) generated a total of 154.5 billion drams, slowing in growth from 5.5% to 3.7%. In December 2024, the revenue from the telecommunications segment increased saw a 3% increase, reaching 13.4 billion drams. For comparison, in 2023, the revenue of Armenia's communications sector amounted to 161.7 billion drams, with 91.7% or 148.3 billion drams coming from the telecommunications segment.
