Upper Lars closed for trucks 

ArmInfo. The rescue service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reports that as of the morning of February 24, there are closed and impassable roads in the territory of Armenia.

In particular, the roads leading from the high-mountain weather  station "Amberd" to Lake Kari and the Amberd fortress are closed.

The section of the road from the crossroad of the city of Jermuk to  the place called "Zanger" is closed for trucks with trailers. The  roads of the Syunik region are closed for trucks with trailers and  are difficult to pass for all types of vehicles. The Vardenyats pass  of the M-10 highway is difficult to pass for trucks with trailers.

There is icy conditions in places on the roads of the Aragatsotn and  Gegharkunik regions, as well as on the M-4 highway. It is snowing in  the city of Vardenis.

According to information received from the Department of Emergency  Situations According to the Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs and  the Russian Emergencies Ministry Crisis Management Center for North  Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Lars interstate highway is closed to  freight transport.
