ArmInfo.The rescue service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reports that there are closed and difficult-to-pass roads in Armenia.
In particular, as the source notes, the roads leading from the high-mountain meteorological station "Amberd" to Lake Kari and the Amberd fortress are closed. The Berd-Chambarak and Tashir-Katnarat highways are also closed to all types of vehicles, and the section called "Zanger" from the Jermuk intersection is closed to trucks with trailers.
The Vardenyats Pass on the M-10 highway and the roads of the Syunik region are difficult to pass for all types of vehicles.
There is icy conditions in places on the roads of the Aragatsotn, Gegharkunik and Syunik regions. A blizzard is raging in the village of Khot.
According to information received from the Department of Emergency Situations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the Crisis Management Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Lars highway remains closed to freight traffic.
