On the Stepantsminda-Lars road sections, traffic is permitted without restrictions, and on the Gudauri-Kobi road section - only through avalanche tunnels. The day before, restrictions were imposed on the Gudauri- Kobi section due to the risk of avalanches. A few hours ago, the road was opened to passenger cars. Heavy-duty vehicles have not been able to use it since February 18. During this time, the road was only opened to these vehicles once, yesterday afternoon, and only for several hours.
