ArmInfo. Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Khachatryan met with representatives of the Movement of Enterprises of France (MEDEF) during his working visit to France. As reported by the press service of the RA government, Tigran Khachatryan welcomed the meeting participants and provided a detailed overview of the main priorities of Armenia's economic policy.
He also discussed the key indicators recorded in these areas and highlighted the ongoing developments in various sectors of the economy. Additionally, the Deputy Prime Minister presented the government's efforts to enhance the investment climate in Armenia.
Stressing the importance of further developing economic cooperation between Armenia and France, Deputy Prime Minister Khachatryan considered it a priority to actively involve French companies in both the private sector of Armenia and in large state programs. Tigran Khachatryan assured that the government is making consistent efforts to strengthen ties between the business circles of the two countries, as well as to make the investment environment in Armenia more understandable for French companies. Representatives from the companies present at the meeting, discussed the main areas of their activities, and expressed their willingness to use their experience and knowledge to implement investment initiatives in Armenia in various formats.
The Deputy Prime Minister also addressed several issues raised by the representatives of the organization, and discussed proposals for specific areas of cooperation. Both parties agreed to plan a visit to Armenia in the near future with a delegation comprising representatives from French companies to further explore the ideas presented.
