EIF launching initiative aimed at innovative development of IT, other  sectors in Armenia`s regions 

ArmInfo.The Enterprise Incubator Foundation (EIF) is launching an initiative in the regions  of Armenia that envisages the creation of a platform aimed at developing innovations.

As stated in the official statement of the EIF, the platform being  created will become a unique environment for cooperation, where  scientific, engineering and technological communities will unite with  large businesses to jointly develop innovative solutions. In  particular, this initiative will help expand the innovative  capabilities of local businesses and promote the modernization of the  industry through the introduction of new technologies.

Bella Harutyunyan, Head of the Regional Development and Investment  Department of the Enterprise Incubator Foundation, noted that this is  aimed not only at transforming the technology sector, but also the  manufacturing industry, agriculture, energy and other traditional  industries.

The initiative will see EIF regional technology centers (in Gyumri,  Vanadzor) and laboratories in Syunik- Sisian and Agarak (scheduled to  open soon) offer engineering solutions to help industrial  enterprises, as well as agricultural and processing companies,  overcome their challenges and increase productivity.

In addition, EIF will initiate corporate investment programs that  will allow large companies to implement joint R&D projects and invest  in innovative solutions.

As part of the initiative, new professional retraining programs will  be continued in the EIF regional centers, which will contribute to  the development of the workforce in the regions, providing new  high-paying jobs in the technological and industrial sectors.
