Armenian wines debut at FOODEX JAPAN

ArmInfo.  Armenian wines will be showcased for the first time at one of Asia's largest international food and beverage exhibitions, FOODEX JAPAN, as reported by the Vine and Wine Foundation of Armenia (VWFA).  Specifically, 10 Armenian winemakers will participate in the exhibition with the support of the Japan Association for Trade with Eurasia (ROTOBO)

It should be noted that FOODEX JAPAN is Asia's largest international  food and beverage exhibition,  held annually in Tokyo since 1976.  Approximately, 3,500 companies from nearly 90 countries participate  in it.  It provides  a platform for manufacturers, suppliers, and  buyers to  introduce new products and establish business  relationships.  According to the RA Customs Service, only 6 liters of  wine were exported from Armenia to Japan in the first half of 2024,  compared to 1.6 thousand liters for the same period in 2023.
