ArmInfo. In January-February 2025, 257 thousand tourists visited Armenia, which is 8.5% less than the figure for the previous year. This is evidenced by data from the Tourism Committee.
In February alone, the number of tourists visiting Armenia decreased by 7.7% over the year, amounting to 117,372 tourists.
Traditionally, the lion's share of tourists are citizens of the Russian Federation (99.5 thousand people or 39%), followed by tourists from Georgia (36.8 thousand or 15%), Iran (20.6 thousand or 8%), the Philippines (5.2 thousand or 2%), India (4.2 thousand or 2%), Ukraine (3.5 thousand or 1.35%), the USA (2.9 thousand or 1.15%), China (2.6 thousand or 1%), France (2.5 thousand or 1%), Germany (2.2 thousand or 1%), the UAE (1.9 thousand or 1%) and Italy (1.9 thousand or 1%).
