ArmInfo. Over 80 businesses from Armenia and Vietnam, representing different sectors of the economy, participated in a round table meeting held in Yerevan.
As reported by the press service of the Ministry of Economy, the participants included companies from industries such as mining and oil, textiles, tobacco production, information technology, logistics services, international cargo transportation, aviation, food industry, telecommunications, tourism, solar energy, real estate, banking, investment services and business consulting.
During the meeting, Deputy Minister of Economy of Armenia Edgar Zakaryan emphasized that cooperation between the two countries in various fields is developing harmoniously. According to the source, the event was a joint initiative of the Ministry of Economy of Armenia and the Ministry of Finance of Vietnam. It should be noted that according to the Customs Service, in the first half of 2024, the customs value of goods exported from Armenia to Vietnam increased by 2.3 times, amounting to $718.2 thousand, the customs value of imported goods reached $439 million, with an annual growth of 24.5%.
