Armenia, IMF discuss bilateral cooperation

ArmInfo. The Ministry of  Economy and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) discussed the  potential for bilateral cooperation, as reported by the press service  of the Ministry of Economy, citing the results of the meeting between  the head of the department, Gevorg Papoyan, and  Iva Petrova, the  head of the IMF mission in Armenia.

According to the source, the discussion also covered the current  trends in the  Armenian economy, efforts to diversify the economy,  existing risks and potential mitigation strategies, priorities in  export strategy, opportunities for international partnerships, and  effective investment management.  Special attention was paid to state  support programs implemented by the RA Ministry of Economy,  significant investment programs, state policy in  corporate  governance, and the establishment of free economic zones.  It should  be noted that the International Monetary Fun
