As part of the reforms initiated by the State Revenue Committee, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) is conducting a new tax administration assessment using the Tax Administration Diagnostic Tool (TADAT). The goal is to identify the system's achievements and shortcomings, and to determine priorities for further reforms.
As reported by the press service of the SRC, a working discussion with the participation of IMF expert group is taking place at the SRC from April 7 to 10, in anticipation of the Tax Administration Effectiveness Assessment, scheduled for May, Prior to the start of the process, a meeting was held between the Chairman of the SRC Eduard Hakobyan, the heads of the structural divisions of the Committee, and IMF experts. The Chairman of the State Revenue Committee, Eduard Hakobyan, welcomed the participants of the event and emphasized the role and significance of the Tax Administration Diagnostic Assessment Tool in tax administration and public administration. IMF experts presented the methodology and features of the tax administration diagnostic tool TADAT. Following the event, a meeting was held between employees from various structural divisions of the Committee and IMF experts to jointly discuss issues aimed at enhancing tax administration.
