Armenia, Russia discuss expansion of cooperation in information  system integration

ArmInfo.  Head of the Food Safety Inspectorate of Armenia Armen Danielyan met in Moscow with the head of the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance of Russia (Rosselkhoznadzor) Sergey Dankvert.

As reported by the press service of the Armenian inspection body, the  parties discussed the prospects for strengthening and expanding  cooperation.

The heads of departments discussed the possibilities of cooperation  aimed at integrating information systems, taking into account the  importance and necessity of creating unified information platforms  between states in modern conditions.

The interlocutors mutually noted that this will contribute to an  increase in the volume of goods supplied, transparency of processes,  ensuring traceability and safety of goods, as well as reducing  material costs during cargo handling.

It is noted that this will also significantly simplify control work,  save time and allow representatives of the competent authorities of  both countries to monitor border crossings, certificate cancellations  online and promptly respond to violations.

Danielyan and Dankvert expressed satisfaction with the results of the  meeting, confirming the priority of effective cooperation.
