ArmInfo. For the first 3 months of 2025, Armenia has spent almost 50 billion drams more than it did for the same period last year. This information is detailed in the RA Ministry of Finance's bulletin on the execution of the state budget for January-March of this year. According to the information, during the reporting period, the revenues of the state budget of the Republic of Armenia amounted to 597.4 billion drams, ensuring 102.1% execution of the indicator projected by the revised program for the first quarter. Compared to the same period last year, the revenues of the state budget increased by 13.8% or about 72.4 billion drams.
The RA state budget expenditures in January-March 2025 amounted to 576.2 billion drams, ensuring the implementation of the revised program for the first quarter by 70.4%. This represents a 9.6% increase, or 50.3 billion drams, compared to the same period last year. In the first quarter of 2025, the RA state budget had a surplus of 21.2 billion drams, a significant improvement from the deficit of 233.3 billion drams in the same period last year. The surplus also exceeded the planned amount of 868.6 million drams for the first quarter.
