Exclusive Hooverphonic Performance and AraratBank`s Social Initiative to Mark Philharmonic`s Centennial Celebrations

ArmInfo. Armenian music lovers are in for an extraordinary cultural experience sponsored by AraratBank, as the internationally acclaimed Belgian band Hooverphonic takes the stage at the Aram Khachaturian Concert Hall on May 7th to celebrate the Armenian National Philharmonic Orchestra's 100th anniversary.

The Embassy of the Kingdom of Belgium in Armenia, represented by H. E. Mr. Eric De Muynck, is partnering for this remarkable concert series.

At the initiative of AraratBank, a portion of the proceeds from the concerts will be provided to the Yerevan Special Educational Complex for Children with Hearing Impairments, to improve the educational environment for the children.

Mher Ananyan, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Executive Board at AraratBank, stated: "We believe that true art knows no boundaries and has the power to unite people. This meeting between the Belgian band Hooverphonic and our historical orchestra is not only an exceptional cultural event but also a beautiful example of how music can build bridges between different cultures, generations, and music genres. According to Norayr Nazaryan, Director of the Armenian National Philharmonic Orchestra and the "Aram Khachaturian" Concert Hall, the building conditions of the currently renovated concert hall allow for the honorable hosting of renowned musicians and musical groups: "In the near future, in addition to the National Philharmonic Orchestra's classical-academic concerts, we plan to increase the number of high-quality crossover genre concerts. Serious technical re-equipment of the concert hall is planned, which will facilitate the organization of such concerts. Every effort is being made to fully utilize all the possibilities of the “Aram Khachaturian” Concert Hall, which will contribute to the expansion of our audience. I highly value the cooperation between AraratBank and the National Philharmonic Orchestra. Within the framework of this concert, we have united our efforts in support of children with hearing impairments. It is commendable that being a financial institution, they value culture and the power of its positive impact and strive to implement social programs through art."
