ArmInfo. The Armenia-Iran Cooperation Development Fund has developed the <Syunik: Economic Hub of the South Caucasus> program, which was presented at the Ministry of Economy of Armenia.
As reported by the press service of the department, the project was presented by the head of the Armenia- Iran Cooperation Development Fund, Pouya Hosseini, to the Minister of Economy of Armenia, Gevorg Papoyan. As noted, the goal of the program is to develop the Syunik region as a regional economic center, stimulating the attraction of private sector investments, developing infrastructure and expanding economic cooperation between Armenia and Iran.
The program includes organization of events in various formats, such as holding bilateral professional forums, organizing business visits, and presenting investment projects. The interlocutors discussed the steps planned within the program, and issues related to possible state support for its implementation.
