ArmInfo.The Public Services Regulatory Commission issued a permit today for the operation of the industrial solar power plant "Masrik 1" with a capacity of 55 MW. On May 14, Mesrop Mesropyan, the head of the department, made this announcement during the presentation of the report on the activities of the PSRC in 2024.
According to the speaker, this solar generation facility is one of 47 solar power plants currently under construction. Prior to this, 72 solar generation facilities had already been put into operation. Once all the stations under construction are commissioned, a total of 119 solar stations with an installed capacity of 557 MW will be operation in the country. Currently, the total capacity stands at 420 MW.
