Armenia`s income tax refund for "mortgage holders" expected to peak  in 2026 before gradually decreasing

ArmInfo. Income tax refund within the framework of mortgage lending in Armenia is projected to peak in  2026, surpassing 100 billion drams. Following this peak,  a slowdown is expected to occur, as stated by Eduard Hakobyan, Chairman of the State Revenue Committee (SRC), on June 9 during a joint meeting of  the standing parliamentary committees while discussing the annual report <On the Execution of the State Budget of the Republic of Armenia in 2024>.

According to him, in 2024 the figure was 68.6 billion drams, which  represents a 32% increase compared to 2022. It is expected that in  2025, the amount of return is expected will reach about 95 billion.  <By 2026, we will most likely surpass the 100 billion drams mark,  after which a gradual reduction will begin>, the head of the State  Revenue Committee said.
